Mayan Abdominal Therapy
With its roots deep in the rainforest of Belize, Mayan Abdominal Therapy draws on ancient Mayan wisdom and modern medical knowledge to improve health in the body’s core. Its founder, Dr. Rosita Arvigo, spent nearly a decade apprenticing with an elder Mayan shaman to refine and master this art. The practice uses gentle external massage on the abdomen and low back areas to realign organs and bony structures, improve circulation and balance the nervous system. In addition to the 45-minute massage treatment, patients will learn self-care massage techniques to continue the healing effects at home.
